THE WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS
This signature series provides our JPHL teams with a mid-season Championship tournament format. Who says championships are won in March?!? Teams arrive for this signature event with plenty on the line - intense competition in a tournament format that leads to home ice advantage throughout the Playoffs regardless of league standings and plenty more. This event also provides scouts, agents, GMs and junior franchise owners with a special platform to take in more JPHL action in a tweaked environment designed to give our student-athletes an experience to remember.
THE DRAFT SERIES
This signature series blends HUB athletes and staff from all nine locations for an unique scouting experience. Athletes will be drafted and have a chance to build new connections with those who they have competed with all year. Bringing mentors, rivals and friends together, this is a great scouting event to see how athletes can adapt and thrive in different environments. In JPHL fashion, we provide a twist to improve the delivery of our student-athlete experience, naming each team after a selected charity. This provides our JPHL athletes with opportunities to learn about giving back to our communities. JPHL hockey is a vehicle to help refine the skills and character of young athletes as they grow and develop into future leaders in our communities.
EXPOSURE
Given the technology and communication tools available today, it is extremely rare for good players to go unnoticed. Our role is to showcase talent and facilitate timely discovery through relationships and networking. The JPHL is intertwined throughout all levels of elite hockey and we leverage our experience and connections to help our athletes receive unparalleled support in this regard. By using The Prospects Exchange (TPE), professionally-broadcasted games and hosting Showcases in centralized major centres (Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver), the JPHL makes finding a player more efficient for the next levels. How many leagues have a dedicated Scouting Department. The JPHL manages all of these details while designing Showcases specifically for all stakeholders in mind - players, coaches, officials, families, scouts, junior and college programs and more. We are committed to generating scouting opportunities through our Special Event Series, to actively building a digital footprint for each athlete and to promote our players through personal networks and established relationships at the Major Junior and Junior "A" levels. While some people may promise the moon, nobody can guarantee your player will play at the next level. The JPHL is focused on providing your player with the skills, structure, mentorship and exposure to maximize their potential.
4VENGEANCE MEDIA
All of our showcase events are fully broadcasted with additional camera angles and colour commentary to immerse viewers, scouts and junior team staff in a junior-level experience which celebrates and highlights our athletes. We also use video access for statistical data collection and analysis, which helps teams with enhanced scouting, player development and communication.
